We went to visit the Waterloo battlefield site the hotel was perfect for. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. A good breakfast which sets you up for the day and close to super markets for any other supplies.. Nice beer served at the hotel bars mind you I do think you would struggle to get a bad beer in Belgium definitely one of the bonuses of the trip. Rooms clean,beds comfy, air con that works and is quiet and a good shower. Close to the center of town 2 min away and 20 mins walk to the train station. The Belgium train system is excellent too. As a place to stay for us it was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. It was available from 6am over the week end too which is great if you have an early start. The lighting in the room was the best I have had in a hotel for a long while. I could read in bed or work at the little desk without fiddling with the bedside light. The room was big and simply furnished which I find immensely restful. The bar areas was friendly with good outside seating and considering how small it was had a good selection of beers etc

The location was good - close to some nice restaurants and boulangerie. Waterloo was perfect to reach the locations we needed. The bed was comfortable and the personnel very nice and helpful.

The hotel was clean and quiet, rooms more than adequate with excellent shower. Staff were always friendly and professional. Good choice provided at breakfast and the bar sold some local beer. As we were in Waterloo on a battlefield tour the hotel provided everything we needed including ample parking. I will definitely use it again.

Very friendly, professional team. Rooms and hotel generally kept clean and well. Location is great just across from the town’s Park, safe and well lit if you plan evenings out it makes it all walkable.

The breakfast was great well done the person who looked after the food and that room. Location great for historic tour. Shops 2 minutes walk if you are needing something for dinner.

The room was typical of what is to be expected from an ibis hotel - cheap and basic, no frills but convenient and meeting requirements. We were in Waterloo for one evening to go sightseeing the next day and then move on and this hotel was very conveniently located in Waterloo. The room and facilities are very basic but clean and quiet.
